Bihar Taekwondo Association (B.T.A.), an affiliated unit of Bihar Olympic Association
(B.O.A.) and Taekwondo Federation of India (T.F.I.) is a registered body, authorized
to Teach Develop and Promote the sport “TAEKWONDO”-An Olympic Sport. Ministry of
Youth, Art & Culture, Government of Bihar recognize this Association. Renowned Player
of this Association has represented the National Team in different International
Event.
Taekwondo Federation of India (T.F.I.), an affiliated unit of World Taekwondo Federation
(W.T.F.) and Indian Olympic Association (I.O.A.), recognized by Government of India,
Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Sports.
The World Taekwondo Federation is the International Federation (IF) governing the
sport of Taekwondo and is a member of International Olympic Committee (I.O.C.).
The WTF recognizes national Taekwondo governing bodies recognized by the NOCs in
the pertinent country as its members. Presently more than 205 National Associations
are its member.
International Paralympics Committee (IPC) Governing Board granted 'IPC-recognized
IF' status to the WTF.
